Rudraksha is the seed of a particular species of tree that usually grows at a certain altitude in the mountains – mainly in the Himalayan region. Unfortunately, most of these trees have been used to make railway sleepers, so very few remain in India. Today, they are mainly found in Nepal, Burma, Thailand or Indonesia. They are also found in parts of the Western Ghats in southern India, but the best quality ones come from a certain altitude in the Himalayas because there the soil, atmosphere and the entire environment influence them. These seeds have an absolutely unique vibration.
