Rudraksha is the seed of a particular tree species that usually grows at a certain altitude in the mountains – mainly in the Himalayan region. Unfortunately, most of these trees have been used to make railway sleepers, so very few remain in India. Today, they are mainly found in Nepal, Burma, Thailand, and Indonesia. They are also found in parts of the Western Ghats in Southern India, but the best quality ones come from a certain altitude in the Himalayas because there the soil, atmosphere, and the whole environment influence them. These seeds have an absolutely unique vibration.
