What is Lithotherapy?

Lithotherapy is a natural method of healing with minerals. This ancient technique gently relieves pain, calms stress, balances and harmonizes the mental, emotional, and physical aspects, and triggers a healing process.

In prehistoric times, humans already used stones to make tools and jewelry. In antiquity, the Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas wore jewelry adorned with stones. The same was true in ancient Egypt, where people began to take an interest in the symbolism of stone colors and their placement on the body. Knowledge of the virtues of stones then developed in India, China, Japan, and then gradually throughout the world.

In the Middle Ages, in Europe, minerals were widely used in the form of powders and elixirs. The interest in the development of science and technology then relegated the study of minerals to the background until the 20th century. It was only in the 1970s that a renewed interest in lithotherapy emerged.

Today, minerals are commonly used in the jewelry and industrial sectors and are gaining increasing popularity with the general public thanks to the democratization of lithotherapy.

How can stones affect you?

Stones act through their energetic radiation, that is, through the omnipresent vibrations that emanate from them. This energy comes from the formation of the stone; it carries its characteristics and therefore varies from one stone to another.

This energy linked to matter is defined by 3 factors: color, crystalline geometry, and chemical composition.

Beyond the energy derived from matter, another energy is very present in the use of stones for therapeutic purposes: belief. Thought directs energy. When a large number of people believe in the same principle, an energy grouping called an "egregore" is created. Thus, if a stone has a widespread and ancient reputation for a certain action, regardless of its material properties, these egregorical properties will gradually become part of its overall energy. A stone can therefore be used for its material and/or egregorical properties.

What can the use of stones bring you?

The virtues of stones are numerous; they can bring you daily well-being, help you in your personal development journey, and provide support.

For example, working with a fluorite stone will allow you to develop your personal freedom and independence.
Very useful for physical, mental, and psychological ailments, stones also offer broad possibilities in the spiritual realm!

Stones and spirituality...

Many stones have the power to awaken our consciousness, accompany us during meditation, and protect us from all negativity. One of the best known is rock crystal, but there are many others.

Thanks to them, you can develop your inner self, remove your vibrations, and develop your extrasensory faculties.

How to use stones?

There are several techniques for using stones and benefiting from their virtues.

1st technique: Carrying a stone on you To benefit from the virtues of your stones, it is important to use them daily for several weeks and to regularly hold them in your hands. Stones will transmit their properties to you gently and gradually. You can put tumbled stones in your pockets or bag. You can also wear them as jewelry.

2nd technique: Using an elixir of your stone Elixirs have an immediate effect. These preparations are most often ingested but can also be used topically. The goal is to transmit the energy of the stone to water through direct or indirect contact. The use of elixirs is complementary to carrying stones on you.

3rd technique: Placing a stone in your home or workplace Stones will modify the atmosphere and the energy level of a place, promoting the activities carried out there. By acting on your living or working environment, they indirectly act on you because they can change your state of mind and that of everyone who comes to that place. They can therefore support a new endeavor. Note: To affect an entire room, stones must be larger than those you carry on you.

4th technique: Working with a stone during meditation Meditation allows you to connect with a stone and work with your chakras. Take a stone in your hands. Observe it, look at its shape, its color, then close your eyes to feel its material, its density, and connect with it.
